Overview
2011 Forest River Sunseeker 3170DS | Spacious Family-Friendly Class C
Ready for a road trip without giving up the comforts of home? Our Forest River Sunseeker 3170DS is a spacious, family-friendly Class C motorhome with plenty of room to spread out, sleep comfortably, cook real meals, and enjoy the trip.
Built on the dependable Ford E-450 chassis, the Sunseeker is large enough to comfortably accommodate a family or group while still being much easier to drive and maneuver than a Class A motorhome or a truck-and-trailer combination.
ROOM FOR THE WHOLE CREW
The 3170DS floorplan was designed with families in mind. Two slide-outs open up the interior and create a surprisingly roomy living space once you’re set up at camp.
Sleeping accommodations include:
• Private rear queen bedroom
• Large cab-over bunk
• Additional convertible sleeping areas in the main cabin
• Plenty of space for families, kids, or groups traveling together
Whether you’re heading to a campground, national park, sporting event, family reunion, or just getting away for a long weekend, you’ll have room to actually enjoy being inside the RV when everyone isn’t out exploring.
FULL KITCHEN
Skip living on gas-station snacks for a week. The Sunseeker includes a full RV kitchen so you can prepare meals on the road.
You’ll have:
• Refrigerator/freezer
• Stove and cooktop
• Microwave
• Kitchen sink
• Counter and food-prep space
• Cabinet storage for cookware and groceries
Bring your own food, stock up along the way, and you’ve got everything you need for breakfast before hitting the road or dinner back at camp.
YOUR OWN BATHROOM
One of the greatest luxuries of RV travel is realizing you don’t have to plan your life around public restrooms.
The Sunseeker has a private bathroom with:
• Toilet
• Shower
• Sink and vanity
• Hot and cold running water
For families traveling with children, this feature alone may preserve several years of your life.
COMFORTABLE LIVING SPACE
When the slides are extended, the Sunseeker provides a comfortable central living area for meals, games, relaxing, or planning the next day’s adventure.
There’s plenty of interior storage for clothing and travel gear, plus exterior storage compartments for camping equipment and the inevitable collection of things everyone insisted were absolutely necessary for the trip.
BUILT FOR REAL ROAD TRIPS
The Ford E-450 chassis provides the familiar driving position and controls of a large van rather than the intimidating feel some people associate with larger motorhomes.
It’s a great option for:
• Family vacations
• National park trips
• Beach or mountain camping
• Weekend getaways
• Sporting events and tournaments
• Festivals and events
• Visiting family
• Multi-state road trips
• First-time RV travelers
You get the freedom of an RV without towing a trailer behind you. When it’s time to leave, pack up, bring in the slides, and hit the road.
A WELL-LOVED RV, NOT A MUSEUM PIECE
This is a 2011 motorhome, and we want renters to know exactly what they’re getting. It has been used, traveled in, and enjoyed by a family. You may find the occasional cosmetic sign of its adventures.
What you aren’t getting is a brand-new luxury coach where everyone spends the entire vacation terrified that a child might touch something.
We want you to relax, use it, make memories, and treat it with the same reasonable care you’d give your own family’s RV.
THE BEST PART OF RV TRAVEL
Wake up somewhere new.
Make coffee while everyone else is still asleep.
Have breakfast without packing the family into a restaurant.
Spend the day hiking, fishing, exploring, watching a game, visiting friends, or doing absolutely nothing.
Then come back to your own bed, your own kitchen, your own bathroom, and your own little home on wheels.
That’s what this Sunseeker is for.
Load up the family, pick a destination, and go make some memories.
