Thornberry is a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited with 4x4, solid axles, 10" of clearance, RT tires, 4 doors, and every piece of gear you need to camp free on public lands. You show up and drive away ready to find a clearing with a mountain view and sleep there for free. No reservations. No fees. No cell signal, usually, but that is kind of the whole point. +++ THE RIG +++ The Wrangler Unlimited is the four-door version of the most capable production off-road vehicle ever built. It features solid axles, 10 inches of clearance, and basic recovery gear. It is genuinely capable on the forest roads that lead to the best campsites. It is also upgraded with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to keep you connected until you do not need to be. +++ WHAT IS INCLUDED? +++ • Rooftop tent: Sleeps 2 with bedding and pillows included • Camp kitchen: 2-burner propane stove, cookware, dinnerware, utensils, coffee percolator, wash basin, and basic essentials: soap, salt&pepper, oil, scrubber, and drying cloth. (Optional Add-On: S'more kit) • Fuel & Power: 11lb Propane tank and a Jackery power station (optional Add-On: Solar Panel) • Food & Water: RTIC 20L rotomolded cooler and 3 gallons of fresh water with an electric pump • Camp Comfort: 2 Camp chairs, a side table, FireCan propane fire pit, side and back awnings for shade and rain shelter.
