Overview
About the area: Heidi lives in Dursley, a historic market town in Gloucestershire, nestled at the foot of the Cotswold escarpment and surrounded by lush countryside. The Gloucestershire and Cotswold area has beautiful rolling hills, fabulous views and walking or biking. Close by you have easy access to the Forest of Dean, Bristol and the rest of the South West, with stunning coastlines easily accessible.
Description of Beds: Heidi sleeps two people in her full size double bed. The mattress is a high standard, deep and super comfy pillow topped double, ensuring a restful nights sleep. She has a weight restriction of approximately 200kg total and please be aware of the sides at both foot and head end- meaning no overhanging of feet is available (unless you put them out her picture window!) The bed is fixed, ensuring that after a busy day exploring you can roll in with no fuss.
Description of Seating: The front has three belted seats including the driver.
Description of Electrical Setup: We built our van with the aim of being as self sufficient as possible, she has a solar panel on her roof which charges a leisure battery, which also charges up whilst you drive. The battery powers a fridge-freezer, water pump, led lighting and our usb ports which can be found each side of the bed and an additional one by the bench seating.
Parking: Heidi lives on our quiet cul-de-sac road. There is plenty of parking on the road to park your own car whilst you go off adventuring!
Kitchen Facilities: The kitchen is a thoughtfully set up space in Heidi. She has a double ring gas hob, full crockery, utensils and storage for you to bring your own food.
Her kitchen equipment is stocked for 2 people, however we can provide additional equipment if required, just get in touch. The crockery is camping style to avoid breakages and consists of 2 traditional mugs, 2 cups, 2 wine glasses, 2 bowls, 2 plates, cutlery for 4 along with bottle opener, can opener, lighter, knives and cooking utensils, chopping boards, grater, kettle, cafetiere, frying pan, saucepan, and Omnia (a stovetop oven).

We also provide salt, pepper, tea bags, ground coffee and a small selection of herbs and spices.

We have a small 2 person BBQ that is run from a small gas canister available as an add-on. It is a perfect size and is easily cleaned and moved making it ideal for having cosy night watching the sun set from your camp.
Bathroom Facilities: The kitchen sink is provided with cold water from the tap, hot water provided from the kettle as required. The water tank is under the sink and is filled via an external port. The waste from the sink goes to an externally attached waste water tank which has a level indicator inside and an external emptying tap, perfect for the drive over waste disposal points.

We can provide a portable toilet and pop-up privacy tent as an add-on if required.
Audio Equipment: There is a radio in the cab which has an aux cable/bluetooth connector.
Type of Heating: Heidi is heated in the chillier months by an air heater. There is a control panel to set the temperature and it is run from the fuel tank.
Pet Information: Our campervan is pet friendly. We allow well behaved dogs as we know first hand a road trip isn't complete without them! Please ensure your pet does not chew or scratch the interior/exterior and do not leave them unattended. We feel the van is perfectly sized for up to one or two medium dogs, should you have more or a larger sized breed please get in touch!
Conversion Story: After searching for the perfect sized and well cared for vehicle we found Heidi, she was a modest fleet van used by national grid. We converted her during our time at university from 2020-2021 and we are now ready to share her with others after some fantastic adventures around Europe and the UK. We did the conversion ourselves and we did it slowly, this allowed us to use her and make changes along the way. To see Heidi during her conversion check out her instagram page @heidiway_adventures
About the Owner: We are Charlotte and Andy, we have a crazy collie called Rosie and we love travelling to the many dog friendly areas around the UK and Europe! We got the bug for camper vans and the lifestyle that came with it after spending a few months travelling in a Toyota Hiace around New Zealand in 2018. We bought and converted Heidi in 2020, trying to keep a sustainable and thoughtful approach to her design. Gloucestershire is a beautiful part of world where you will find some amazing spots nearby, we can't wait to meet you and hear your stories from your adventure in Heidi.
Extra Information: We did the conversion ourselves, during the pandemic. We learnt from our own experience of living in a campervan to create our perfect home from home. We both enjoy water-sports, biking and having our four legged friends with us so the van was particularly built with this in mind.
