Overview
You could rent a camper van and pretend to be comfy in a rolling shoebox… Or you could roll up in Riggy Smalls: a 2017 Peterbilt 579 with a Coleman trailer mounted to the back, 500 gallons of water, a hot tub, Starlink internet, soft-serve ice machine, cotton candy machine, and an 85" TV hanging off the back like a mobile drive-in. Your move. Version Note – Photos are V1, You’ll Be Getting V2 The photos you see right now are of Riggy Smalls V1. I’m currently upgrading and dialing everything in for Riggy Smalls V2, which is expected to be finished in early January. Riggy Smalls V2 will include everything described in this listing, with updates, refinements, and small quality-of-life improvements. As soon as V2 is complete, I’ll upload new photos so you can see the upgraded setup. So if you’re booking for dates after Feburary, you’re booking Riggy Smalls V2 as described below. Meet Riggy Smalls (V2) This rig started life as a Peterbilt 579 sleeper, then got promoted to mobile party base: Registered as an RV – no CDL required Around 12 MPG (respectable for a rolling resort) Overall length: about 25 feet – fits in most spots a camper van can Coleman 13B trailer solidly mounted on the frame Can tow basically anything you’re brave enough to hook up Compact footprint, ridiculous feature list. Stay Connected Anywhere – Starlink Onboard Riggy Smalls V2 includes Starlink, so you can: Work remote from the middle of nowhere Stream movies and sports in HD Game online at the campground Keep kids (and adults) entertained when the weather doesn’t cooperate You’re off-grid… but still online. 85" Outdoor Movie/Game Night Mounted on the back is an 85-inch TV, turning your campsite into a mini theater: Perfect for: Movie nights under the stars Game day watch parties Hooking up a console for campground game night Riggy Smalls = your own rolling drive-in. Two Sleeping Zones (Truck + Trailer) The sleeper and the trailer are separate, with an air gap between them: Truck sleeper: Sleeps 3 Coleman trailer: Sleeps 5 Total: Up to 8 people in two distinct sleeping areas Great for: Early risers vs night owls Adults in one area, kids in the other People who like being together but also appreciate some space 500 Gallons of Water + Hot Tub Most RVs: “Please take a 10-second shower.” Riggy Smalls V2: “We brought 500 gallons. Relax.” Includes a large inflatable hot tub Real showers without rationing Plenty of water for a full crew to bathe, cook, and soak Real Toilet + Bidet No flimsy plastic throne here: Real household toilet Bidet attachment – yes, in a Peterbilt Once you’ve used it, campground bathhouses feel like a step back in time. Dessert Mode: Soft Serve & Cotton Candy Onboard sweet gear: Soft-serve ice cream machine Cotton candy machine Instantly become: The hero of the campground Tailgate MVP The person everyone “just stops by” to visit I’ll show you how to run both so they make treats, not sugar concrete. Why This Obliterates a Camper Van Camper vans: Feel like sleeping in a metal coffin 10-second “coffin showers” where you elbow every wall Everyone packed into one tiny space and usually weak/no Wi-Fi Riggy Smalls V2: Only 25 feet long, so it fits almost anywhere a camper van can But instead of shoebox vibes, you get a semi cab + full trailer 500 gallons of water, hot tub, real toilet + bidet Two separate sleeping areas, Starlink, 85" outdoor TV, soft serve, cotton candy This isn’t #vanlife. This is Riggy Smalls life. Driving & Tow Power Big, comfy Peterbilt cab with a commanding view Short enough to be manageable for folks used to towing or driving larger vehicles Built to tow boats, toy haulers, or extra trailers if needed All the trucker cool, none of the CDL exam stress. Perfect For: Guys’ trips, hunting camp, or fishing HQ Race weekends and tailgates “Work from anywhere” trips (thanks, Starlink) Family trips where you want space + entertainment on-site Festivals where you want to be the unofficial main stage What I’ll Walk You Through Before you roll out in Riggy Smalls V2, I’ll give you a quick, simple orientation: How to drive & park the rig Hookups, power, and the 500-gallon water system Setting up and using the hot tub Running Starlink, the 85" TV, soft-serve, and cotton candy Basic towing tips if you’re pulling extra toys House Rules No CDL needed, but you must be comfortable driving a large vehicle No smoking inside Pets considered – message me with details No roof-to-hot-tub stunt jumps Return it in solid shape – adventure dust is fine, disaster movie is not Photo Note: Right now, the photos show Riggy Smalls V1. As soon as Riggy Smalls V2 is finished in early January, I’ll upload new updated pictures so you can see the final upgraded setup. In the meantime, if you have any questions about what’s changing or what’s included, just shoot me a message!
