About the Vehicle & Camper: The rig includes a FSR (Free Spirit Recreation) Aspen Light XL rooftop camper tent, providing a comfortable, elevated place to rest. Built for durability and comfort, it’s perfect for the Big Island’s varied terrain and climates. Surfboards up to 9'2" fit inside with the passenger seat folded and a towel placed in front of the windshield for protection. Sleeping Comfort: Fresh linens Two pillows per guest Cozy comforter (lighter blanket available on request) 3" foam mattress LED lights powered by a USB battery bank Included Gear: XL rooftop tent with ladder & interior storage pockets 2-gallon filtered water container with spigot 2 chairs, first-aid kit, flashlight, toilet paper, window breaker Choice of YETI backpack cooler or standard cooler Prep Fee & Setup: Covers sanitizing, vacuuming, exterior wash, linens, and 2 deliveries (pickup by Costco, 5 min from airport) — the fee is on the higher side due to these deliveries. Camper is quick and easy to open/close. Extra dirt or spills may incur additional charges. Rules & Safety: Recommended for guests comfortable with 4x4s — accidental 4WD use can damage the transmission and is not covered by trip insurance No off-roading — intended for unpaved roads and trailhead access only.
