Overview
Welcome to our family RV, named Israel. My wife and I were supposed to go to Israel in 2020 for our 25th anniversary. When COVID canceled the trip, we bought this RV instead. That decision was also inspired by a summer vacation with our kids (then 18, 17, and 13) to Colorado in an RV.
Israel is a 2021 Forest River Sunseeker 32-foot bunkhouse RV with a V8 engine on a Ford chassis, which gives you solid power and better gas mileage than many older V10 models. It has been carefully maintained and has taken our family on many great trips.
We love this floorplan for families. The master suite has a queen bed in the rear. There is a larger-than-queen bed (60x80) over the cab and bunk beds in the hallway; the bottom bunk can serve as a couch or lay flat as a bed. This setup allows up to six people to sleep with some privacy (not all in the main living area). Israel can sleep an additional 2–4 people (depending on size) on the couch and dinette.
The RV has a tub/shower, two televisions, and a convection oven/microwave. There is plenty of storage inside and out for your gear and luggage. Outside, you’ll find a backup camera with rearview mirror display and side cameras that activate when turning, making driving and parking easier.
The kitchen is set up as a basic kitchen. We provide a few pots and pans, some plates, and silverware to get you started, and we ask you to bring any additional paper goods and kitchen items you prefer (extra plates, cups, special cookware, etc.).
In the storage area, we provide an 8-foot folding table for outside dining, 5 folding chairs, and a Coleman propane stove with propane bottles, so you can enjoy cooking and relaxing outdoors.
Please bring your own linens for the queen-sized bed in the back and for any other beds you plan to use, along with your own pillows, towels, and personal items.
Our family is pet- and smoke-free, as Momma is allergic to cigarette smoke and most pets. We kindly ask that there be no smoking and no pets in the RV.
Price is per night. Standard pickup time is 5:00 p.m. and drop-off is 9:00 a.m., but we can often be flexible depending on the schedule of the RV before and after your dates. If the system is not allowing you to book, please contact us—we’d love to try to help you and see if we can make it work for your trip.
